Break & Move only collects and stores information necessary to provide its features:

• Your break interval preferences.
• Your break count history (to show how many breaks you’ve taken).

We do not collect personally identifiable information or share your data with third parties.

2. Permissions and Why They Are Needed

The extension requests the following permissions:

• Alarms – To schedule and trigger break notifications.
• Storage – To store your settings, pause/resume state, and break count.
• Notifications – To display desktop notifications reminding you to take micro-breaks.

These permissions are strictly required for the extension to work correctly.

3. Data Security

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API.

We do not transmit your data over the internet.
